David, Regional Vice President of Tri Counties Bank, brings 28 years of experience in commercial banking. Currently, David serves as the Regional Vice President of Commercial Banking for Tri Counties Bank. In 2003, David launched the Region when Tri Counties Bank entered the Fresno market. In his current position, he is responsible for commercial lending, marketing, business development, community involvement, and a local staff of professional bankers.
The Fresno region serves a diverse client base including Agricultural, Medical, Manufacturing, Retail, Real Estate Developers, Entrepreneurs, and Wholesale companies. Under David’s leadership and direction, the Fresno region consistently exceeds its assigned goals and objectives. David’s success can be attributed to his ability to listen, ask questions, and offer influential solutions to assist his clients throughout the San Joaquin Valley. David consistently ranks as one of the top employees within Tri Counties Bank as evidenced by being named to the prestigious President’s Club annually.
David has a passion when it comes to serving the community of Fresno. He is involved in many civic and professional organizations. He serves on the Men’s Leadership Council for Marjorie Mason Center and has been a member of Rotary Club International 18 years, David is currently a member of The Rotary Club of Fresno, and for the past 10 years has served on its Community Projects Committee. Furthermore, he is an active member of the Sons of the American Revolution, Yosemite Chapter, as well as serving on the Loan Committee for Valley Small Business Development Corporation. David supports many charities including Marjorie Mason Center, CASA, Central California Blood Center, Stanford University, Harding University, and the World War II Glider Pilots Association. He is also a member of RMA (Risk Management Associates) American Bankers Association, and is the former treasurer of his church.
David graduated from Harding University in Searcy AR, with a Bachelors of Arts in Management. While at Harding University, David earned an athletic scholarship in basketball and played forward for the Bisons. Furthering his professional education in 2009, David graduated from the esteemed Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at Southern Methodist University.
A native of Dallas, TX, in his free time David enjoys golf, gardening, wine tasting, travel, handy man projects and rooting on his favorite teams, the Dallas Cowboys and Stanford Cardinal. He currently resides in Fresno, CA with his wife the former Diana Billingsley of Lemoore, CA; they have one son, Curtis, who is a physician in Philadelphia, PA.
