The Sheriff’s Office operates the Sheriff’s Activity League (S.A.L.) summer day camps as a crime prevention activity in the rural communities of Fresno County. The motto “Positive Reinforcement for Positive Behavior” is the foundation used by the Sheriff’s Office to instill in students that making the right choices in life will open up many doors in their future.
S.A.L. Dates: July 1st - 31st
Program Sites: San Joaquin Community Center, Laton Elementary School, Malaga Community Center, Caruthers Elementary School
Summer Day Camp runs three days a week from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.Lunch program may be available depending on the site. All programs and field trips are free of cost. Summer Day Camp is open to students ages 7-13. Students must be 7 years old by the beginning of the program and cannot be over 13 by the end of the program.
Field trips are every Thursday and are free of cost!
